CM Yogi’s big statement – Will free 1 lakh bighas of land from Congress leaders and distribute among tribals

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that we will soon vacate one lakh bighas of land from the possession of Congress leaders and distribute it among the tribals. Along with this, UP CM has also responded to the allegations of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sonbhadra mass murder case. Priyanka Gandhi had said that the state government is not able to protect the tribals and the rule of law in the state is over.
CM Yogi Adityanath on a question asked on the Sonbhadra mass murder case, he said, ‘We are going to vacate one lakh bigha land only in Sonbhadra, most of which is in the possession of Congress leaders. When the zamindari ended, many Congress leaders had transferred a large amount of land in their own name by forming a society. We have formed a committee which will investigate such cases. Let the report of the committee come in three months, all Congress leaders will be exposed. In Mirzapur, a Congress leader has 6000 acres in the name of a fake society.
The Uttar Pradesh CM further said, ‘Former Chief Minister Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna formed a committee in 1972-73. This committee was asked to make a report which is especially on the Vindhya region. The committee submitted its report in 1973 but no action was taken. We have extracted the report and are investigating.
Yogi Adityanath said, ‘The one lakh bigha of land that is going to be vacant belongs to the tribals, forest department and gram sabha. I will return the vacated land to the forest department. My plan is to give the land of the Gram Sabha to the tribals. I am going to Umbha this month. My effort will be to seize such lands which are spread in six districts on a large scale, as illegal societies are mostly made up of Congress leaders. These lands will be distributed among tribals according to the rules.
CM Yogi spoke on the allegations made by Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on the Sonbhadra mass murder. He said that when we checked the paper of 1952, we found that the disputed land belonged to the Congress leader of Bihar. He transferred 1400 bighas of land in his name by forming a society.
