US President Donald Trump has announced that a US warship has destroyed an Iranian drone in the Hormuz Mountains. In the White House, Trump told that a US Navy warships USS Boxer gave several warnings to a drone flying inside 1,000 yards, but the warship blew it off when ignored. Trump has described it as a threat to the safety of ships and ship personnel by the drone, as a defensive action.
Pentagon Chief Spokesman Jonathan Hoffman said that the USS destroyed the drone flying in his Jaddan at around 10 in the morning in Hormuz Jalarmurmadh. According to the statement, The Unmanned Air System (UAS) came so close to the USS Boxer that it felt threatened by the warship. The battleship took defensive action to ensure the safety of personnel and personnel aboard the ship. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif later told reporters at the UN Headquarters that we do not have any information about the destruction of any of our drones today.
