Tamilnadu deputy chief minister O Panneerselvam has dismissed all talks of issues in relations with CM Edappadi K Palaniswami by saying that he had stood by me in ‘dharmayudh’ against the Sasikala clan. An attempt to convey that everything was well between them, Panneerselvam said, “I began the dharmayudh and the chief minister was with me in fighting it. We (the erstwhile EPS and OPS groups) merged because of this. There is no history of us belittling ourselves and joining other parties,” the deputy CM said, recalling how he broke away from the AIADMK and returned. “The dharmayudh was launched only to ensure that the party does not fall into the clutches of the (Sasikala)family,” he added.
