Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani dedicated developmental works worth Rs. 217 crores and also did the ground breaking ceremony of the Mukhyamantri Gruh Yojana by Gandhinagar Urban Development Authority (GUDA). He said that the government is determined to provide best of the facilities to its citizens in whichever corner of the state they are in.
Adding to that, he said that the government, by fulfilling the goal of ‘Sauno Saath Sauno Vikas’, has allocated a budget of Rs. 1 lakh 72 thousand crores for developmental works in the last 15 years.
Mr.Rupani stressed on the fact that his government is for the poor, the oppressed, and the like; a government based on the pillars of sensitivity, transparency, progress and decisiveness. He also talked about the visionary and efficient leadership of Prime Minister Modi which aims to provide electricity, potable water, gas connection and housing facility for the poor by 2022.
Talking about the growth of the state since 1995, he said that Gujarat ranks number 1 in animal husbandry and milk production and said that the waters of Narmada have reached to each and every village of the state.
Mr. Rupani said that the foundation stone of transparent and good governance has been laid under the leadership of our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. He also said that Gujarat has become a role model for development of India due to our dedicated spirit towards the same. Gandhinagar has also obtained a position amongst the 6 cities of Gujarat under the Smart City Mission. Allocation of Rs. 500 crores for smart city development has made the city more comfortable for development of modern amenities such as housing, sewerage, drainage, water and gardening.
Under this program, a draw was done for the various Awas Yojana under Mukhyamantri Gruh Yojana such as drainage pumping station at Adalaj, ground breaking ceremony of various amusement parks, and many other developmental works which amount to a total of Rs. 217 crores.
Vice-President of State Parliament Mr. Shambhuji Thakor, Minister Ms. Nirmalaben Wadhwani, Minister of Health and Family Welfare Mr. Shankar Chaudhary, M.L.A Mr. Ashokbhai Patel, Mayor of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation Mr. Pravinbhai Patel and various other officers along with a large number of citizens were present on the occasion.
