A tragic accident occurred in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh. Four national level hockey players died in a car accident here. According to the information, three people have been injured in the accident, who have been immediately hospitalized. The condition of one of the injured is stated to be critical. CM Kamal Nath has expressed grief over the accident and assured the victim’s family of all possible help.
According to sources riding in the car , the accident occurred on Monday morning near the village of Raisalpur in the district. All 7 players in the car belonged to Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy at the time of the accident. They all came to Hoshangabad to play Dhyanchand Hockey Tournament. Police said that while going towards Itarsi, their car rammed uncontrollably into a tree, killing four people. Three people have been admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
The condition of one of the injured players is very critical. He is admitted to the nearest hospital. Expressing grief over the accident, the state’s CM Kamal Nath has instructed the victims’ family to provide all possible help. In a tweet made by the CM office, Kamal Nath said, ‘The news of the accident of the vehicle of the hockey players going to join the tournament near the village of Risalpur is very sad. My condolences to the families of the players who died in the accident. ‘
CM wished the injured to get well soon and instructed to treat them and provide all possible help to the families of the victims. It is being told that the stay of some players who came to participate in the tournament was arranged in Itarsi. These players were going there only to fall victim to the accident on the way. The Hoshangabad DM has ordered an inquiry into the case.
