Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Jan Sangh founder Syama Prasad Mukherjee on his 118th birth anniversary, saying his contribution to national unity will be always remembered. Modi termed Mukherjee a great educationist and an intense nationalist thinker.

Modi also shared a video on Mukherjee. Bharatiya Jan Sangh leader was born on 6th July 1901.
