Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani leads Rajkot on the path of smart city by dedicating the eye-way CCTV project of Rajkot. Mr. Rupani inaugurated the eye-way project at a stage program organized at Gadhvi hall and this project, which is known as ‘Chakor Ankh’, will prove to be a crucial step towards curbing crime, expressed Rupani. The immediate information about the environment, transport etc can be found through the project.
State government policy will be quality based for making the 5 smart cities including Rajkot; this will remove the fear of biased tendencies. The state government has made more than 475 public oriented decisions in 365 days. Mr. Rupani expressed his feelings to make more and more O.D.F (open defecation free) cities in the state which will accelerate Prime Minister Swatchh Bharat Mission.
Mr. Rupani also announced for allocation of Rs. 40 crore more for the eye-way project of Rajkot due to which more 500 high resolution camera’s will be installed for the prevention of pre planned crimes and for the internal security in the city. He congratulated Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) and Rajkot City Police to complete the work in due time.
Mr. Rupani distributed assistance cheques worth Rs. 60 lakh to five leading medical institutes of the city and also launched Akshay (action for smarter and sustainable Rajkot) Urja Rajkot website and launched the handbook of Hekaton-2017. He also inaugurated the Command and Control Center functioning at the Corporation and Police Commissioner Office. Rajkot Municipal Corporation and City Police Honored Chief Minister Mr. Rupani with a floral wreath. On this occasion, short documentary about Rajkot eye-way Project was also broadcasted.
