Decrease in crimes after Ayodhya verdict : Maurya

On 9th November, the day after the Supreme Court of India (SC) verdict on Ayodhya Dispute, That being said Murder, Robbery and Rape no serious criminal incident took place in Uttar Pradesh (UP). The claim is even that this was the first such day in Yogi government, when not a single incident of serious crime took place in 75 districts of the state. Not only this, there has also been a sharp decrease in crimes since the verdict. The UP government is happy with the reduction in crimes and wants to take credit for it itself. In this regard, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that all this has been possible due to the preparation of the government.
He has said that before the historic decision on the Ram temple, the police and administration had made extensive preparations for security. Due to which not only the reduction in crimes has been recorded, but on 9th November, on the judgment day, no major criminal incident took place in any district of UP. Deputy CM has said that the government will also try to ensure that incidents of crime in the state are minimized. For this, the UP police is also working in the direction of crime control.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad has held the Shiv Sena responsible for this, after the President’s rule was imposed after the political pullout to form a government for 20 days after the results of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections. He has said that Shiv Sena did not follow coalition religion. Due to which such situation came in Maharashtra that the Governor had to recommend imposition of President’s rule.
