Ram Jethmalani, a senior lawyer, died on Sunday. He was 95 years old. BSP supremo Mayawati has mourned the demise of senior lawyer Ram Jethmalani. He tweeted that he will always be remembered as an fearless and outspoken personality. Mayawati has expressed deep condolences to her family. Shraddha-Suman was offered to him. Jethmalani’s son Mahesh told that his father was not well for a few months. He breathed his last at his home in New Delhi at quarter to eight.
Mahesh said that his father’s final government will be done at the crematorium on Lodhi Road here this evening. Jethmalani was born on 14th September 1923 in Shikarpur, Sindh (Pakistan) and came to India after Partition. Jethmalani has a daughter in his family besides his son Mahesh, who lives in the US. Another of his daughter Rani Jethmalani passed away in 2011 and another son Janak Jethmalani.
