Two-term BJP MP from Rajasthan’s Kota has been nominated by the ruling party for the position of Speaker of the Lok Sabha. On June 19, 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will nominate Mr. Birla, followed by other Members who will second his nomination. Om Birla is unanimously elected as Lok Sabha Speaker. Prime Minister Narendra Modi leads Mr. Birla to the Speaker chair. Leader of all parliamentary parties join him.
