The failure of the BJP, the Shiv Sena and the NCP-Congress to form a government together has finally imposed a presidential rule. However, in all these political situations, one thing that is discussed is that Maratha King, a good player in Maharashtra politics and NCP supremo Sharad Pawar, is believed to have made the political encounter of the Shiv Sena successful in separating the Hindu Shiv Sena from the BJP. One of the political factors keeping an eye on Maharashtra’s politics is that the Shiv Sena had opened the door of talks with the Congress to form the government by relying on Sharad Pawar. When Governor Koshiyari invited Shiv Sena to form the government, he did not have NCP and Congress-backed letters. The NCP is believed to have prepared the letter, but the Congress-backed letter is believed to have created a delayed situation.
He says that Sonia Gandhi was in touch with Sharad Pawar. When the Shiv Sena was called by the Governor, it is said that Sonia sought to contact Pawar to know how the situation was and when he was told that it was not yet decided. As a result, the Shiv Sena demanded more time after the Congress did not get the support letter that its governor had rejected.
Political factors say that the governor also gave the NCP 4 hours and today, even though it was till 8 pm today, the NCP asked for more time in the morning by reporting to the Raj Bhavan and saying that the governor got what he wanted and no party was in a position to form a government. Shiv Sena’s strategy to keep BJP out of power after recommending imposition of presidential rule has not been successful. According to the factors, the NCP had enough time till 6pm, though the strategy behind seeking more time in the morning may be inappropriate. The NCP could have asked for more time at night. But instead of seeking time in the morning itself, the government did not form itself and the Shiv Sena has also been deprived of power.
For the last five years in the politics of Maharashtra, the friendship of BJP and Shiv Sena was only on paper. Both the Hindu parties do not allow the NCP to flourish. As a result, it is said that the NCP played a role in opening the gates of the presidency for the governor by giving him ample time, despite giving the governor ample time to develop such relations between the BJP and the Shiv Sena that it would take years to improve and the Sena politically weakening.
