The BJP-Shiv Sena alliance has got a majority in the Maharashtra Assembly election results trends. After the trends, Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray spoke to reporters. After rising to 57 seats, Uddhav Thackeray said that the big leaders of both parties will decide together what to do next. He said that who will be the chief minister is an important question, but the Shiv Sena will not bow down to the 50-50 formula.
Uddhav Thackeray said that first of all I thank the public. The Shiv Sena is in a position to form the BJP government. People have voted consciously, democracy is alive in the state. The people who have given the mandate are eye-openers. The government will have to work for the next 5 years, we will work in honor of the blessings that the public has given us.
Who will be the chief minister is an issue of importance. The 50-50 formula has been decided in the first meeting, I have to take my side forward. As soon as possible, we will sit together and talk to the Delhi leaders of the BJP, which has been discussed earlier. The time has come for this formula to be implemented.
