NDA can’t take credit for verdict on Ayodhya case : Uddhav

Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray said BJP-led Central Government cannot take ‘credit’ for the much awaited Supreme Court judgment in the Ayodhya case. Thackeray told reporters, ‘We had requested the government to enact a law on the construction of the (grand) Ayodhya Ram temple, but the government did not do so. But now that the Supreme Court is going to pronounce the decision, then the government cannot take credit for it (even if the decision comes in favor of the temple). Significantly, the Supreme Court will give its verdict on Saturday in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute case.
Earlier, the relationship between the BJP and the Shiv Sena, who were allies of each other, has been talked about these days. After the recent assembly election results, both parties are adamant on the stubbornness of the Chief Minister and due to this, a new government is not being formed in Maharashtra. When the BJP has not listened to the Chief Minister of BJP and Shiv Sena for 2.5-2.5 years, on Friday, Shiv Sena has now hinted at moving to other options. Meanwhile, on Friday, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis submitted his resignation to Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. After submitting his resignation to the Governor, Fadnavis attacked the Shiv Sena fiercely. Describing the demand of CMs of both the parties for two-and-a-half years under Shiv Sena’s ’50 -50 ‘formula, Fadnavis said that no decision was ever taken on it.
