Prime Minister Modi, making a brief address at the airport in Tel Aviv, thanked PM Netanyahu for the warm welcome. He said that it was his honour to be the first ever Indian PM to undertake this ground breaking visit to Israel. “India is an old civilisation but young nation. We have a talented and skilled youth, who are our driving force. We consider Israel an important development partner.”
Shri Modi added, “We have to secure our societies against the common threat of terrorism. This is an exciting journey that we will undertake together, for the good of our people and our society.
