BCCI has formally received permission from the government to hold the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League in the United Arab Emirates, IPL Chairman Brijesh Patel said on Monday. Patel was quoted saying: “We have got the official permission from the government to hold Indian Premier League (IPL) in UAE.”
IPL 2020 is scheduled to be held in the UAE between September 19 to November 10.
The matches will be held in three cities — Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
