Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi Adityanath) on Friday inaugurated the Bhoomi Poojan and Piling of the work of Metro in Kanpur. During this, in his address, CM Yogi Adityanath said that Kanpur is the biggest metropolis of Uttar Pradesh. Metro will start running here in 2 years. Earlier, Kanpur was counted in large metros of the country. But then it became known for the closed industry business. CM said that now Kanpur will not be known for closed industries, Kanpur will develop. In time to come, Kanpur will become the center of defense manufacturing. He said that pollution in Maa Ganga has reduced in Kanpur.
He said that in the Purvanchal Expressway, the previous governments were trying to rob in the pockets of the people of the country. Our government not only reduced the cost of the Purvanchal Expressway project, but the work is also going on fast. We have added everyone to the development plan. Previous governments were limited to the foundation stone. Neither the money nor the approval of the project just lay the foundation and loot the applause. It is a priority to complete our government projects on time.
The foundation stone of the Purvanchal Expressway was also done in December 2016. CM said that when he reviewed the work in May 2017, it came to know that the work has been zero. It was found that work was also allotted without land. After this, we canceled the entire project and started the process of taking land again. These are the same people who give good slogans, but in the guise of slogans, they create such spoils.
CM said that now we are flying from 7 airports in our Uttar Pradesh, while we are working at 11 airports. He said that the Supreme Court in Ayodhya is a pleasant decision. Our government had already acquired the airport in Ayodhya.
