Gujarat govt’s 16 check-posts to be shut down from 25 Nov

BJP government in Gujarat has made an important announcement today. It has announced the abolition of 16 checkpoints (check posts) from 25 November. Additionally, a learning license can be obtained from 221 ITIs and 29 polytechnics. Learning license work will start from 15 November. Thus citizens will no longer need to go to RTO.
Drivers will be able to pay taxes and fees online. Pay driver tax and fees online
can do at parivahan.gov.in. 332 crore was revenue from the chowkiyo. Which will now be accepted online. As per the provision of vehicle and freight waiver for more dimensions and cargo, you will be able to get the discount by paying online fee. This permission is sufficient only for the size of the vehicle and the over-dimension of the cargo. Overload cargo will not be allowed on the Odyssey module. Transport of overloaded goods is prohibited. Also, fines will be charged with e-currency.
According to the state government, you can get guidance from the helpline number and website. In addition, drivers can submit helpline numbers (079) 23257808 and 23251369 for guidance and complaint. Additional information can be obtained from email and website cot.gujarat.gov.in.
Which RTO checkposts will be currently closed in the state: Checking in Ambaji, Amirgarh, Gundari, Thavar, Tharad, Tamkhayali, Jamnagar, Shamalaji, Dahod, Jalod, Chirudepur, Sagbara, Kapra, Bhilad, Songpost and Waghati.
