Sudden change in weather, since morning cloudy weather was witnessed in mainly all parts of Gujarat. As noon time began thunderstorm, windy weather was seen in some districts of Gujarat. Heavy rainfall was witnessed at Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Junagadh, Surat, Baroda, Jamnagar, Porbandar.
As monsoon rains continue to lash most parts of Gujarat, the State has put more than half of its dams on high alert following heavy water inflows at the reservoirs.
As per the latest update from the State Water Resources department, out of the 204 reservoirs in the State mostly 95% are flowing on high alert limits.
