Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Sudhanshu Trivedi has been fielded for the Rajya Sabha from Uttar Pradesh that fell vacant after the demise of former Union finance minister Arun Jaitley. Trivedi has been rewarded for defending the BJP and the government on issues cropping up every day. The party sources said that it was long due for him to be recognized his contribution. Satish Dubey will be the BJP candidate from Bihar.
