The Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) plans to field all the new faces in the 2020 Assembly elections. The party might not consider even such names who had lost last elections with a very thin margins. There are three BJP MLAs in the Delhi Assembly and one SAD MLA.
Several rounds on survey about the constituency will be done before finalising the name. Name of the candidate for any particular constituency is being asked from different sources and final two names will reach to the high command to take a call. Delhi BJP in-charge Prakash Javadekar had done several rounds of consultation with the leaders of Delhi and getting feedback about candidates.
Sources said that winability is the only criteria and nothing else. The survey done by multiple agencies will help zero in on the name in any particularly but the BJP list will see fresh faces for sure.
