Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Houston on a visit to America. There Prime Minister Modi attended the CEO of energy sector companies round table on the first day of his visit to America. MoU signed for 5 million tonnes of LNG. Earlier, PM Modi was welcomed by the people of Bohra society and Kashmiri Pandits were also given a grand welcome. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) was signed with Tellurian and Petronet at this meeting at Houston’s Hotel Post Oak. MoU signed for 5 million tonnes of LNG. The target has been set for finalization of the transaction agreement by March 2020 by Tellurian and Petronet. Let us tell you that in February, Telurion had announced an MoU with Petronet LNG Limited India (PLL) to explore investment possibilities in the PLL driftwood project. On behalf of the company, it was stated that it includes the proposed LNG terminal as well as natural gas production, aggregation, processing and transportation facilities. India previously relied only on Qatar for LNG. Now LNG is being imported from Russia as well as Australia along with America. It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has visited the US, is to attend the Howdy Modi program held in his honor tonight. The event is organized by the non-profit organization Texas India Forum, which will include people from 48 states. US President Donald Trump is also scheduled to attend the event.
