Maha’tra and Haryana assembly polls on Oct 21, results on Oct 24 : EC

Election Commission of India has announced dates for Maharashtra and Haryana Assembly elections. The press conference of the Central Election Commission has started. Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora is sharing information related to the election. Today the dates for Maharashtra Assembly Election 2019 will be announced. Along with this, the date of Haryana assembly elections will also be announced by the Commission.
The tenure of Maharashtra’s 288-member assembly ends on November 9, while the 90-member assembly in Haryana ends on November 2.
Apart from Maharashtra, Haryana, elections are also proposed in Jharkhand.
Voting will also be held on 4 seats of Gujarat
Scrutiny until 5 October. Withdrawal of nomination date 7 October. The voting date will be 21 October. The counting of votes will take place on October 24.
Maharashtra and Haryana assembly election notification will come on 27 September. The last date for nomination will be October 4.
According to the Election Commission, instructions have been given to parties and candidates to monitor social media.
Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora announced that plastic will not be used in the assembly elections in Maharashtra and Haryana.

The term of the Haryana Legislative Assembly is till 2 November, while the term of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly is till 9 November: CEC
