Industrialist Pramod Mittal has been arrested in Brosnia for suspected fraud. Pramod Mittal is also accused of misusing his weapon. The case is being reported to the north-eastern city of Lukavac.
Pramod Mittal has been arrested from Europe for suspected fraud of 19.32 crore rupees.
According to information, Pramod Mittal started a coking plant in the year 2004 in the North East city of Lukavac. There were more than a thousand workers in this plant. Prosecutor Kazim Serrhaltik told the media, the police arrested Pramod Mittal, chairman of GIKIL’s supervisory board.
GIKIL was established in 2003 and is co-managed by Pramod Mittal’s Global Steel Holdings and a local public company (KHK). Even before that many employees of the company have been arrested. It is reported that the company’s General Manager Parmesh Bhattacharya and another member of the Supervisory Board have also been arrested. All these people have been found guilty of organized crime, especially power and misuse of economic offenses.
