Primary School students of DPS-Bopal perform on theme of ‘Evolution – A masterpiece written by nature’

Delhi Public School – Bopal, Ahmedabad yet again created a benchmark with its Annual Day function Oorukkali 2018-19 titled ‘Evolution…a masterpiece written by nature!’ held on Monday at its beautifully landscaped campus. Celebrated in the esteemed presence of Shri Rakesh Shankar IAS, Deputy Commissioner AMC, as the Chief Guest and presided over by Mr Amitabh Shah, Founder YUVA Unstoppable, the event was also graced by the parent fraternity and all the dignitaries of the institute.
The event engineered by the wizards from the Primary Section opened auspiciously with the lighting of the lamp. Principal, DPS-Bopal, Mr. Surender P. Sachdeva accompanied by the esteemed guests rose to felicitate the outstanding achievers with scholarships. In his address he shared the achievements of the students and the institute. Emphasizing on the dynamic vision on the school of – Lead, Care and Inspire, he appealed for gadget fasting on Sundays to set an example for the young generation.
The event moved ahead with the students presenting the cosmic quest of the world and beyond, the participants took the audience on a cavalcade studded with myriad of scintillating programmes all brilliantly woven together with the theme of‘evolution’.The opening dance ‘Charisma of Creation’ personified the five core elements of Creation, ‘Wonderment in the Wild’ unfolded the treasure of flora and fauna, followed by a long list of jaw dropping performances. Shri Rakesh Shankar in his speech congratulated the principal and the staff for the fantastic thought behind the wonderful thematic show. He stated that although the school plays a vital role in igniting the spark in a child but parents also need to dedicate time and have the right kind of dialogue with their kids to unravel their capabilities.
The dazzling performers electrified the cold December evening with their performances creating an atmosphere of euphoria. A tableau exhibiting our rich and vibrant cultural heritage of various dance forms embellished the venue and added radiance to the whole affair.
Creativity and innovation have been the hallmarks of DPS-Bopal throughout its journey of 22 years. The spectacular mega show that mirrored the two aspects along with the adroitness and dynamism of the Dipsites, instantaneously became popular with its audience, leaving them with ever-lasting memories to cherish.
